Marinate whole portobello mushrooms in a mixture of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, and herbs. Grill them over the fire until they’re juicy and tender. These can be served as a burger substitute or on their own.

Campfire Baked Beans:
In a cast iron skillet, combine canned vegan baked beans with sautéed onions, garlic, and a touch of maple syrup or brown sugar. Let it simmer over the fire until heated through and slightly caramelized.

Vegan Campfire Chili:
Prepare a hearty chili ahead of time and bring it to your campsite. Heat it up in a pot over the fire, and serve with vegan cornbread or tortilla chips.

Grilled Fruit Skewers:
Don’t forget about dessert! Thread chunks of your favorite fruits (like pineapple, peaches, and bananas) onto skewers. Grill until they’re caramelized and serve with a drizzle of dairy-free chocolate sauce or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
