VEGAN / KETO What I Eat In A Day – With Macros | HMFYOGA

I haven’t done a ‘what I eat in a day’ on a vegan ketogenic diet in a while and I wanted to challenge myself and include the macros and calories in this vegan keto day. When eating vegan keto I usually have one main meal a day and two smaller snacky type meals. I had a protein shake today as I went to a really hard spin class (lots of hills and getting big watts, so my legs needed the protein!) I don’t usually have a protein shake and I don’t usually track, so this was a bit of an experiment for me today too. As I did fall a little short on my calories today I had a little coconut oil in my tea in the evening to get the calories up, as I say I am not doing this for weight loss, loosing weight does not currently fit with my plans 🙂

Although this vegan what I eat in a day has very thrown together and let’s be honest, not hugely interesting food, I like to eat these simple, easy to put together type recipes – it suits me and my lifestyle, plus I actually love these simple meals! These vegan keto meals and snacks are also great to meal prep in advanced for the week.

This what I eat in a vegan keto day has the macros and calories that suit me for my size, shape, build, weight, age, activity level and goal – this may be entirely different for you. this vegan keto what I eat in a day is for inspiration purposes only. I aim to maintain my weight and not lose any weight on the keto diet. I use the keto diet for mental health, hormone balancing for my cycle, managing water retention and generally it just makes me feel like I have a lot more energy and mental clarity. I’m also not sure if this is a proven thing, but my asthma is also a lot easier to manage/non-exsistent when I eat a high fat, low carb diet. I have been vegan for 3 years and vegan keto on and off for around 1.5 years…. more on than off.

I understand this vegan keto diet is not for everyone, but for those who are interested in a plant based way of doing the ketogenic diet, you may find some snack and meal ideas in this video 🙂 All these vegan keto meal are high fat and low carb…. I just love eating this way!
