Most people care about animals. So why do so many of us still eat them?
After being vegan for over 15 years and having thousands of conversations about veganism, I don’t think the answer is as simple as “people just don’t care.”
There are some very real reasons people hesitate to go vegan: concerns about health and protein, worries about building muscle, liking meat and dairy, convenience, where you live, family traditions, social pressure, and even the weight that comes with calling yourself “vegan.”
In this video, I break down some of the biggest barriers I see, where some of these beliefs come from, and why I think most of them are easier to work around than people realize.
This isn’t about being perfect. You don’t have to call yourself vegan to eat fewer animals, and you don’t have to change everything overnight.
If you’re not vegan, I’d genuinely love to know what the biggest thing holding you back is.
And if you are vegan, what finally made things click for you?

TODAY’S VIDEO:
Today’s video is discussing one of the most important issues related to animal farming – agricultural subsidies. Yet, even though subsidies are so important, most people have no idea of the influence they have. So when and why did these subsidies start? What impact have they had? And is there any hope for a shift towards a plant-based system while governments and agribusinesses continue to support our current subsidy protocols?
