It’s a new year and I’m guessing that you are in the mood for a fresh start, a clean slate, and setting ourselves up for the loveliest possible year ahead. And of course, we can’t have a fresh start without looking at the freshest thing in our daily life, our diet. If your diet isn’t feeling very fresh at the moment, and I know mine isn’t after a few christmas weeks of indulging in saffron buns, white crisp bread, and all the vegan cheese and sausages, then maybe you’ll enjoy hearing about my new delightfully healthy 2025 diet I’ve been doing for about ten days now.

🍋 Water with Fresh Lemon Juice: Hydration game strong. Lemon water kicks off my day by flushing out toxins and giving my liver the love it needs to keep everything in check.

🥬 Fresh Organic Celery Juice: The ultimate cleanse. Celery juice is all about reducing inflammation, balancing pH, and giving my liver that extra support to stay sharp.

🫐 Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie with Dr. Sebi’s Cell Food: This smoothie is next-level. It’s packed with ingredients that pull heavy metals out of my system and @drsebiscellfood goodness that keeps my hormones balanced and my body free from all the toxic junk we pick up in daily life.

🫘 Large High Protein Plant-Based Meal: Protein power! I load up on plant-based goodness, full of legumes, veggies, and grains. It’s not just for fuel, it’s how I keep my hormones balanced and my liver doing its thing.

🍉 Fresh Seeded Watermelon: Nature’s candy. It’s super hydrating and loaded with antioxidants to keep inflammation down and my body feeling fresh.

Recipes:

Congee:
500ml of brown rice
500ml of red lentils
4.5 litres of water
Boil for 2-4 hours

Granola:
super healthy whole foods granola
250 ml / 1 cup dates, soaked
100 ml / ½ cup tahini
date soaking water
750 ml / 3 cups oats
250 ml / 1 cup mixed nuts (i used cashews, almonds, and hazelnuts), very roughly chopped
100 ml / ½ cup prunes, chopped
100 ml / ½ cup organic raisins
100 ml / ½ cup sunflower seeds
50 ml / ¼ shredded coconut
½ tsp cinnamon
a pinch of cardamom (optional)

– preheat the oven to 150°C / 300°F.
– Mix dates, tahini (and date soaking water if needed) in a food processor or blender until smooth.
– Add all the dry ingredients in a very large bowl and toss. Now it’s time to get messy, by mixing in the tahini date paste until all dry ingredients are coated.
– Spread the granola evenly on parchment paper. press with the flat of your hand to make it denser.
– Bake the granola for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and deliciously nutty cinnamon smelling.
– Let cool, and break apart to desired chunk sizes. keep in an airtight container.

Tea Mix:
125 g matcha
1 tsp matcha
shake

Noodle soup:
1 tsp bouillon powder per person
½ cup of water
¼ head of broccoli
1 cup of spinach
100g tofu
Bell pepper
Red onion
Noodles

Spice mix:
Nutritional yeast
Smoked salt
Garlic granules
