FASTEST Vegan Latkes Recipe EVER In Under 1 Minute

Let’s make easy Vegan Latkes because potatoes don’t need an emotional support egg to be amazing! These are perfect for vegan hanukkah dishes.

You take the potatoes…Shred ‘em, fry ‘em, and suddenly, your kitchen smells like a greasy Hannukah miracle! Sure, you’re essentially deep-frying carbs, but it’s vegan, so you’re practically saving the planet one crispy bite at a time!
These beauties are golden, crunchy, and hold together like your last shred of sanity during family holidays. Bonus? No chickens were emotionally blackmailed in the making of your dinner.
Slather on some Dijon mustard or applesauce and watch as your meat-loving cousin nervously sweats, questioning every life choice.

Vegan latkes are proof that plant-based food can be dirty, indulgent, and better than whatever sad cheese platter Aunt Linda brought for the holidays.

Ingredients:
8 medium potatoes
1 onion medium-large
1 flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flax +1/4 cup of boiling water)
3/4 cup flour (all purpose)
Salt and WHITE pepper (trust me, my mama’s never wrong!)
1 tablespoon of your preferred herb, I use Oregano.
Potato starch from the liquid you squeeze out.

Method-
Grate the potatos and onions, squeeze the absolute crap out of them but save the liquid because the white gold sinks to the bottom after a few mins. discard the water but keep the starch.
Mix the dry and throw in everything else.
‘knead’ it together it should be mushy but just about retain it’s shape. if it’s falling apart, it’s too wet just add a touch of flour but not too much and try again.
Place them in low flame hot oil and let it cook low and slow until golden, these take about 10 mins to fry so be careful and patient if the oil’s too hot they’ll be raw in the middle.
